It’s been almost the whole year since I posted last. I always had good intentions of keeping up with this blog, but I somehow never fulfill them. I have no excuses; no babies born or major life changes. I am just lazy or uninspired. I need to get into the habit of just doing quick posts when I have the bright idea or when i come across something really cool that I want to keep going or pass on to whoever might be reading this. Somebody might be.
Mobile Madness
So now there is an official WordPress app for Android phones, like mine. This is great! This is just what I needed to really get going on this website. I don’t care to use Twitter but I would put stuff on Facebook sometimes while out and about. Now I can do the same on my own site. Thanks again to Paul and Sarah for setting me up with fury161.com. Ok, so the thought for today is I really like LT as a guy, but his career is on the downslope and I don’t think he will be back in SD. And his silly song won’t leave my head…….arrrrrgggghh!
Stupidity
I swear I will not drink another Bud Light until they stop running these Jimmy Football commercials. They are so &@&%@$#%@$!-ing stupid, pisses me off every time I see or hear one. Everybody involved in making those deserves to go to County Lock-up.
Steelers
Just because I have them as my Fantasy Football defense I feel I can say this………It seems to me that Troy Polamalu is their entire defensive power. When he is out, THEY LOSE TO FREAKING K.C. !!!!!!!!!
New phone, pluses and minuses
So, I got a new phone about a week and a half ago. The HTC Hero for Sprint. We were able to get a very good deal on a family share plan with unlimited data, txts, nav, and so on…. Overall I love the phone. It can do a lot of really cool stuff. There are several thousand applications that can be downloaded for it. At least half of those are crap, but there are some really useful programs as well. The screen is nice and big and responsive, and it can be personalized to the Nth degree. The only drawbacks I have so far are two: due to a flaw in the SMS/MMS application, the phone does not go to sleep once you send a txt message. Something about the phone’s radio staying on and causing the phone to stay in an “awake” state even though the screen may be locked and blank. Software patch is a-coming When? Who knows. The other thing in dust under the screen. This is pretty annoying. I have had it less that 2 weeks and there is a large amount of dust under the glass. I have written the manufacturer and hopefully will hear some good news on this issue. Otherwise, I am loving it. Both for the features of the phone itself, and for the plan we are on that allows all the current-gen communications with all my family and friends. OH! And watching LIVE Thursday Night Football on it, when my cable provider does not carry that channel, was SO COOL!

Hello world!
First post on my new WP based site. This should hopefully motivate me to keep updating stuff on a much more frequent basis, keeping the family in touch and up-to-date on useless info about my days.
